Calculer les intégrales suivantes en utilisant des formules d'aires (rectangle, triangle, trapèze).
1. \(\displaystyle\int_1^4 6\,dx\)
2. \(\displaystyle\int_0^5 x\,dx\)
3. \(\displaystyle\int_0^2 (x + 1)\,dx\) (trapèze de hauteurs \(f(0)=1\) et \(f(2)=3\))
1. Rectangle : \((4 - 1)\times 6 = 18.\)
2. Triangle de base \(5\), hauteur \(5\) : \(\dfrac{5\times 5}{2} = 12{,}5.\)
3. Trapèze : \(\dfrac{(1 + 3)}{2}\times 2 = 4.\)
Calculer chaque intégrale à l'aide d'une primitive.
1. \(\displaystyle\int_0^3 x^2\,dx\)
2. \(\displaystyle\int_1^2 \big(4x^3 - 2x\big)\,dx\)
3. \(\displaystyle\int_0^1 \big(3x^2 + 2x + 1\big)\,dx\)
1. \(\Big[\tfrac{x^3}{3}\Big]_0^3 = \tfrac{27}{3} - 0 = 9.\)
2. \(\big[x^4 - x^2\big]_1^2 = (16 - 4) - (1 - 1) = 12.\)
3. \(\big[x^3 + x^2 + x\big]_0^1 = (1 + 1 + 1) - 0 = 3.\)
On donne \(\displaystyle\int_0^3 f = 7\), \(\displaystyle\int_3^8 f = -2\) et \(\displaystyle\int_0^3 g = 4\).
1. Calculer \(\displaystyle\int_0^8 f\).
2. Calculer \(\displaystyle\int_0^3 \big(2f + 3g\big)\).
3. Calculer \(\displaystyle\int_8^0 f\).
1. Chasles : \(\displaystyle\int_0^8 f = \int_0^3 f + \int_3^8 f = 7 + (-2) = 5.\)
2. Linéarité : \(\displaystyle\int_0^3 (2f + 3g) = 2\int_0^3 f + 3\int_0^3 g = 2\times 7 + 3\times 4 = 14 + 12 = 26.\)
3. Inversion des bornes : \(\displaystyle\int_8^0 f = -\int_0^8 f = -5.\)
On veut approcher \(\displaystyle\int_0^1 x^2\,dx\) (valeur exacte \(\tfrac13 \approx 0{,}333\)).
1. Découper \([0\,;1]\) en \(n = 4\) intervalles. Donner la largeur \(\Delta x\).
2. Calculer l'approximation en prenant la hauteur à l'extrémité droite de chaque intervalle (abscisses \(0{,}25\ ;\ 0{,}5\ ;\ 0{,}75\ ;\ 1\)).
3. Cette approximation est-elle par excès ou par défaut ? Justifier.
1. \(\Delta x = \dfrac{1 - 0}{4} = 0{,}25.\)
2. Somme \(= \Delta x\big(f(0{,}25) + f(0{,}5) + f(0{,}75) + f(1)\big) = 0{,}25\,(0{,}0625 + 0{,}25 + 0{,}5625 + 1) = 0{,}25 \times 1{,}875 = 0{,}46875.\)
3. Sur \([0\,;1]\), \(f(x) = x^2\) est croissante : la hauteur à droite est la plus grande sur chaque intervalle, donc chaque rectangle dépasse l'aire réelle. L'approximation est par excès (\(0{,}469 \gt 0{,}333\)).
1. Calculer la valeur moyenne de \(f(x) = x^2\) sur \([0\,;2]\).
2. Calculer la valeur moyenne de \(g(x) = 3x + 1\) sur \([1\,;5]\).
1. \(\displaystyle\int_0^2 x^2\,dx = \Big[\tfrac{x^3}{3}\Big]_0^2 = \tfrac{8}{3}\). \(\mu = \dfrac{1}{2}\times \tfrac{8}{3} = \tfrac{4}{3} \approx 1{,}33.\)
2. \(\displaystyle\int_1^5 (3x+1)\,dx = \Big[\tfrac{3x^2}{2} + x\Big]_1^5 = \big(\tfrac{75}{2} + 5\big) - \big(\tfrac{3}{2} + 1\big) = 42{,}5 - 2{,}5 = 40\). \(\mu = \dfrac{1}{5-1}\times 40 = 10.\)
Soit \(f(x) = -x^2 + 4\), positive sur \([-2\,;2]\).
1. Calculer l'aire du domaine sous \(\mathcal{C}_f\) entre \(x = -2\) et \(x = 2\).
2. Retrouver ce résultat en utilisant la symétrie : \(\displaystyle\int_{-2}^{2} f = 2\int_0^2 f\).
1. \(\displaystyle\int_{-2}^{2}(-x^2 + 4)\,dx = \Big[-\tfrac{x^3}{3} + 4x\Big]_{-2}^{2} = \big(-\tfrac{8}{3} + 8\big) - \big(\tfrac{8}{3} - 8\big) = \tfrac{16}{3} + 16 - \tfrac{16}{3}\)… reprenons : \(\big(8 - \tfrac83\big) - \big(-8 + \tfrac83\big) = 16 - \tfrac{16}{3} = \tfrac{32}{3} \approx 10{,}67.\)
2. \(\displaystyle\int_0^2(-x^2+4)\,dx = \Big[-\tfrac{x^3}{3}+4x\Big]_0^2 = -\tfrac83 + 8 = \tfrac{16}{3}\). Par symétrie (fonction paire), le total vaut \(2\times \tfrac{16}{3} = \tfrac{32}{3}\). ✓
Soit \(f(x) = x + 3\) et \(g(x) = x^2 + 1\).
1. Vérifier que \(f(x) - g(x) = -x^2 + x + 2 = -(x-2)(x+1)\), puis que \(f \geqslant g\) sur \([-1\,;2]\).
2. Calculer l'aire du domaine compris entre \(\mathcal{C}_f\) et \(\mathcal{C}_g\) sur \([-1\,;2]\).
1. \(f - g = (x+3) - (x^2+1) = -x^2 + x + 2\). Factorisation : \(-x^2+x+2 = -(x^2 - x - 2) = -(x-2)(x+1)\). Sur \([-1\,;2]\), \((x-2)\leqslant 0\) et \((x+1)\geqslant 0\), donc \((x-2)(x+1)\leqslant 0\) et \(-(x-2)(x+1)\geqslant 0\) : \(f \geqslant g\). ✓
2. \(\mathcal{A} = \displaystyle\int_{-1}^{2}(-x^2 + x + 2)\,dx = \Big[-\tfrac{x^3}{3} + \tfrac{x^2}{2} + 2x\Big]_{-1}^{2}\).
En \(x=2\) : \(-\tfrac83 + 2 + 4 = -\tfrac83 + 6 = \tfrac{10}{3}\). En \(x=-1\) : \(\tfrac13 + \tfrac12 - 2 = -\tfrac{7}{6}\).
\(\mathcal{A} = \tfrac{10}{3} - \big(-\tfrac{7}{6}\big) = \tfrac{20}{6} + \tfrac{7}{6} = \tfrac{27}{6} = \tfrac{9}{2} = 4{,}5.\)
Soit \(F(x) = \displaystyle\int_1^x (2t - 3)\,dt\).
1. Sans calculer \(F(x)\), donner \(F'(x)\) et \(F(1)\).
2. Calculer explicitement \(F(x)\), puis \(F(4)\).
1. Par le théorème fondamental, \(F'(x) = 2x - 3\) (l'intégrande évalué en \(x\)). Et \(F(1) = \displaystyle\int_1^1 (2t-3)\,dt = 0\).
2. Une primitive de \(2t - 3\) est \(t^2 - 3t\), donc \(F(x) = \big[t^2 - 3t\big]_1^x = (x^2 - 3x) - (1 - 3) = x^2 - 3x + 2\). Puis \(F(4) = 16 - 12 + 2 = 6.\)
Un appareil reçoit une puissance modélisée, sur une phase de fonctionnement, par
\[p(t) = -t^2 + 6t \qquad (p \text{ en watts},\ t \text{ en secondes},\ 0 \leqslant t \leqslant 6).\]1. Vérifier que \(p(t) \geqslant 0\) sur \([0\,;6]\).
2. Calculer l'énergie \(W\) reçue entre \(t = 0\) et \(t = 6\) s : \(W = \displaystyle\int_0^6 p(t)\,dt\).
3. En déduire la puissance moyenne \(P = \dfrac{1}{6}\displaystyle\int_0^6 p(t)\,dt\).
4. À quel instant \(t\) la puissance est-elle maximale ? Que vaut ce maximum ?
1. \(p(t) = -t^2 + 6t = t(6 - t)\). Sur \([0\,;6]\), \(t \geqslant 0\) et \(6 - t \geqslant 0\), donc \(p(t) \geqslant 0\). ✓
2. \(W = \displaystyle\int_0^6 (-t^2 + 6t)\,dt = \Big[-\tfrac{t^3}{3} + 3t^2\Big]_0^6 = -\tfrac{216}{3} + 3\times 36 = -72 + 108 = 36\ \text{J}.\)
3. \(P = \dfrac{1}{6}\times 36 = 6\ \text{W}.\)
4. \(p'(t) = -2t + 6 = 0 \iff t = 3\) s. \(p'\) passe du positif au négatif : maximum en \(t = 3\), \(p(3) = -9 + 18 = 9\ \text{W}.\)
